Making Life Better Here Awards

To show our sincere appreciation for the hard work, dedication and contributions of CLS staff who have gone above and beyond to make UCSF a great place to work, learn, teach and discover, we invite nominations for CLS’s 2018 “Making Life Better Here” Awards. 

Up to three staff in Campus Life Services will be selected and each will receive $5,000 and acknowledgement in a ceremony held in the spring of 2018. 

Nominations must be submitted on-line by March 14, 2018, at 5:00 PM.

Because CLS’s efforts are guided by our commitment to UCSF’s values and by our support of the Chancellor’s Priorities, nominations must describe the great work performed in CLS and also explain how that work connects to one or more of UCSF’s PRIDE values and/or a Chancellor’s Priorities.

Note: CLS’s 2018 “Making Life Better Here” Awards are CLS-branded STAR program Achievement Awards and are funded by CLS’s STAR allocation.  (

Staff selected for the “Making Life Better Here” Award must be in policy-covered titles (MSP and PSS) or within the CX bargaining unit and meet other eligibility requirements detailed in the STAR program.
