The health and safety of our members and staff is our top priority. We understand the importance of staying fit and active at times like these and have put together Live Stream Classes and On-Demand Pre-Recorded classes for you to stay active at home.

Live Stream Classes

We are excited to offer free live stream Group X classes to our UCSF Fitness & Recreation community.  What are the advantages of live classes?
- Accountability to exercise at a specific time
- Added structure and motivation
- Community and camaraderie knowing that others are doing the same workout as you

How it works
- The classes will take place via Zoom and will require a password.
- When it’s time for your desired class, click on the class link below to join the Zoom (no registration required).
- Learn more about how to join Zoom here.
- Your virtual class will open 10 minutes prior to start time. The class host will be available at that time to assist you and answer any questions you may have. Join in early to make adjustments to your camera and socialize.
- Check the class descriptions below for optional equipment you may want to use during class.

Class Descriptions

F45
A combination of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Circuit Training and Functional Training using bodyweight exercises. This is a high impact class and may not be appropriate if you have injuries. Equipment: No equipment needed.

Strength Training
Stay active and strong with this workout designed for all levels. Focus on full body movements and resistance training with bodyweight and weights (or household items) to improve strength, coordination and joint mobility. Equipment: This class can be done with bodyweight, weights, or weight substitutes. View a list of household alternatives to weights.

Yoga Stretch
Enjoy low-impact invigorating yoga poses and stretches to strengthen muscles, improve posture, and increase flexibility. This is the perfect “feel-good” class to decompress and release stress. Equipment: Optional equipment includes 1 or 2 yoga blocks or books (like a dictionary), a yoga blanket or large towel, yoga strap or towel that can easily be used to help with stretching, and a eye pillow or a cloth to put over your eyes at the end of class.
