Lactation Room Reservation Guidelines

1. This room can only be reserved for a maximum of one hour per visit.
2. Reservations are on a 14 day cycle, and limited to 30 reservations per 14 day period.
3. Be sure to update, change or cancel your reservation if your schedule changes. Failing to update your reservation impacts other scheduled room users and those participants searching for an available room.
4. Please adhere to your scheduled sessions, as many lactation room participants have time-sensitive schedules and depend on the room being available for the time during their scheduled times.
5. Additional lactation rooms and access information can be found at http://tiny.ucsf.edu/lactationrooms
6. Please contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) with feedback or concerns.

Reservation FAQs

Q: Can I request another room to be added to this scheduling system?
A: If you and other lactation room users are experiencing a high-volume lactation room and think a reservation system may benefit the community, please contact the Lactation Program at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Once the current transition to EMS is complete, our program will assess adding a reservation system to other high-traffic rooms on an as-needed basis.
Q: Why are only these five rooms available to reserve through EMS?
A: The lactation rooms involved in this transition have had reservation systems in place for the past 2-5 years using Google Calendars (with the exception of the PCMB lactation room, which is new). However, we plan to keep the majority of lactation rooms available for drop-in (unscheduled) usage as many lactation room users have unpredictable schedules.
