Infant & Toddler Care Parnassus - Marilyn Reed Lucia Child Care Study Center
The Marilyn Reed Lucia Child Care Study Center, at the Parnassus Campus, is sponsored by UCSF and managed and operated by Bright Horizons Family Solutions. The center serves 24 infants and toddlers between the ages of three months and 24 months. The program is available to parents on a two, three or five day a week schedule providing an environment where children are respected, valued and encouraged to grow. The center has a long history at UCSF and was reopened in 2011 as UCSF’s first dedicated infant/toddler center. The Center has an enrollment relationship with the Kirkham Child Development Center, UCSF’s preschool on the Parnassus Campus.The center is named in honor of the clinical psychiatry professor, Marilyn Reed Lucia MD, who was one of the first champions of child care at UCSF.
