We are located at the U.C. Medical Center in San Francisco at 500 Parnassus Avenue between Hillway and 3rd Avenue. Look for us in the Millberry Union Plaza East next to the glass clocktower.

Public Transportation

San Francisco Municipal Railway (MUNI) Metro serves UCSF. The N-JUDAH Light Rail Vehicle stops at Irving Street at Arguello Street. This LRV line terminates at the Embarcadero Center which also serves Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). Muni also stops with motor and electric coaches at UCSF with the 6-Parnassus line, the 43-Masonic, and the 66-Quintara.

From the East Bay (80)

Cross the Bay Bridge. Once acrosss the span get into the second lane from the right. Take the Golden Gate Bridge/Highway 101 exit. Stay in the left lane and exit on Fell St. Once on Fell Street, get inot the right lane and drive about two miles (stay in the right lane when Fell Street curves to the left). At the end of Fell St., turn left on Stanyan St. Stay in the left lane, proceed up the hill and turn right on Parnassus. UCSF is at the top of the hill. The entrance to the public parking garage is on the right. Take the elevator up to J level. We are located in the Millberry Union (the building with the clock tower) Plaza East.

From Marin (101 and 1)

After crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, take the 19th Avenue exit (to the right, 1/4-mile after toll plaza) onto Park Presidio Drive. Stay in the right lanes as you pass through Golden Gate Park onto 19th Avenue, where no left turns are allowed. Go 4 blocks, turn right on Kirkham, right on 20th Avenue, and right (east) on Judah. Follow Judah up the hill to UCSF. judah becomes Parnassus at 5th Avenue. The entrance to the public parking garage is on your left. Take the elevator up to J level. From the South Bay

Drive north on Highway 101 (Bayshore Freeway). Stay in the left lane and follow the signs to the Golden gate Bridge; exit on Fell Street. Once on Fell Street get into the right lane and drive about two miles (stay in the right lane when Fell St. curves to the left). At the end of Fell St. turn left on Stanyan St. Stay in the left lane, proceed up the hill and turn right on Parnassus. UCSF is at the top of the hill. From the Peninsula (280)

Traveling north on 280, stay in the left lanes and take the Golden Gate Bridge exit onto 19th Avenue (north). Stay in the right lanes and turn right (east) on Judah Street. Follow Judah up the hill to UCSF. Judah becomes Parnassus at 5th Ave. the entrnace to the public parking garage is on the left. Take the elevator up to J level.
