Public Parking

UCSF is located in a densely populated urban environment. For the convenience of faculty, staff, students, and guests, we offer a variety of parking locations on each campus. Rates vary by location and time of day.

Prevent auto-burglary.

Keep your vehicle and valuables safe by locking your car and not leaving anything in plain site.  Thefts can occur at anytime, don’t be a victim of an auto-burglary, take the time to secure your valuables and limit the criminal’s ability for opportunity.

Three convenient sites serve our 107-acre Parnassus campus, located south of Golden Gate Park.

Millberry Union Public Garage
500 Parnassus Avenue, located across from the Medical Sciences Building

Westside/Kirkham Surface Lot
707 Parnassus Avenue, located behind the School of Dentistry

Beckman/Koret Surface Lot
5th Avenue at Kirkham

Public parking rates at Parnassus garages are as follows:

The parking rate for motorcycles is a $5.00 daily maximum. Disabled parking rates are as follows:

Weeknight (6:00 pm-7:00 am) and weekend parking is available at the Westside/Kirkham Surface Lot and Beckman/Koret Surface Lot at a rate of $2.50.

MISSION BAY
Located south of downtown San Francisco, our Mission Bay campus offers multiple parking options. Additional lots are under construction.

Located next to the Mission Bay Community Center

1630 Third Street Garage
Located just north of 16th Street

Fourth Street Surface Lot

MOUNT ZION
Home to our cancer and women’s health centers, public parking on the Mount Zion campus is offered at specialized rates.

2420 Sutter Street Garage
Located between Divisadero and Broderick

Public parking is available at Mount Zion Monday through Friday, 6:00 am-10:00 pm, at the following rates:

Disabled patients and visitors with a current disabled placard pay a flat rate of $12.00.
