BART

MacArthur BART Station is a major BART transfer point, and will provide commuters with the closest BART connection to Emeryville. The MacArthur Station features connections to several bus lines as well as the free Emery Go-Round shuttle to help you reach your destination. Commuters boarding the Emery Go-Round shuttle at the MacArthur BART Station will disembark at the intersection of Christie Ave. and 64 St. Upon existing the Emery Go-Round shuttle it is less than a 1 min. north on Christie Ave. to 6425.

Commuters may also find it convenient to utilize the West Oakland BART Station when traveling to the new UCSF location in Emeryville. Commuters boarding the #26 bus at the West Oakland BART station will disembark at the intersection of Christie Ave. and 64 St. and exit the bus. Upon existing the #26 bus it is less than a 1 min. north on Christie Ave. to 6425.

Commuting from the North and East Bay:

Amtrak California’s Capitol Corridor serves the Emeryville Amtrak station located at 5885 Horton St (between Powell St & 59th St) Emeryville, CA 94608. Amtrak Capitol Corridor provides convenient, frequent and affordable daily service between the Sacramento region and the Bay Area, with multi-ride tickets available. Price varies depending on ticket type and boarding location.
The bus services Emery Go-Round and AC Transit also stop at or near the station.

Emery Go-Round Shuttle

The Emery Go-Round shuttle is a free service of the Emeryville Transportation Management Association, open to all Emeryville residents, shoppers, visitors and employees of Emeryville businesses. Fare-free, open to the public service seven days a week from MacArthur BART.
Bicycle racks are provided on each vehicle. Bikes are permitted inside, during off peak hours, especially in case of mechanical problems with the bike or rack provided there is room and out of the way of other passengers.
Each vehicle has satellite tracking. You can view the location of each vehicle on a live map, or get computerized arrival estimates at any time

Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital Commute Options

There are presently a number of transportation options provided to the UCSF Community when looking to commute to the ZSFG campus. Please see an overview of these options detailed below

BART
The closest BART station to ZSFG is the 24th Street Mission station. Go to BART for more information, maps, and schedules. ZSFG offers a free shuttle connecting the 24th Street Mission station to ZSFG, see the shuttle section below for more information.

Muni
ZSFG is served by multiple Muni lines: 9, 9R, 10, 19, 27, 33, 48, 90.  Go to Muni for route and schedule information. For your convenience, NextBus predictions are broadcast via monitor in the ZSFG main and outpatient lobbies.

Caltrain
The closest Caltrain stop is the 22nd Street station located at 1149 22nd Street, San Francisco.  From this stop, SF Muni 48 can be taken from 22nd Street & Indiana Street to reach the ZSFG campus.  From the main downtown SF Caltrain station at 4th Street & King, the SF Muni 10 can be taken to the ZSFG campus.  Go to Caltrain for schedule information.

ZSFG Shuttle
ZSFG offers free shuttle service to the 24th Street Mission BART station during peak commute times. This service is free to patients, visitors and staff. Get more information, maps, and schedules here.

Bike racks are located throughout the ZSFG campus.

Parking
23rd Street Parking Garage
Hourly parking is available at a public parking garage located at 2500 24th Street, across the street from ZSFG.  During weekday daytime hours, enter the garage through 24th Street.  The 23rd Street Parking Garage also has bike racks, electric vehicle charging stations, and car sharing options (City Car Share/Carma, Zipcar, Enterprise, Get Around, and Scoot) available to everyone. Valet parking services are also offered.

On-Campus Parking
Hourly parking is available on-campus at a parking lot accessed from 23rd Street.
