All campus locations have a permit parking system. Come to the Transportation Services Office nearest you to request a permit. Parnassus Campus has a waiting list for permits. Carpools are treated preferentially for permit parking spaces.

UCSF employees who park at a UCSF controlled facility can pay their monthly permit parking fees via pretax payroll deduction provided their appointment lasts at least 12 consecutive months and they are scheduled to receive a paycheck during the entire term of their appointment. Individuals signing up for payroll deduction are required to self-pay for their permit by cash, check, or credit card for the period prior to the start of their payroll deduction.

U.C. Berkeley plans to develop the property at 55 Laguna, which is where UCSF currently offers off-site permit parking primarily to staff based at Parnassus. UCSF expects to lose access to this parking facility as of November 1, 2012.
