In addition to hardware and software sales at academic discount prices, we also provide the needed services related to the technology you own and use.

We offer computer repair options to all UCSF staff, faculty, and students in partnership with local computer service provider Eaton & Associates. Eaton & Associates can repair your Mac or PC system, and are Apple Authorized Technicians.

The UCSF Technology Store can accept hardware for repair or can have a trained technician visit your location to diagnose and repair your Mac or PC computer system.

Our service technician partners are always available to install, upgrade, and repair your hardware when needed. Please contact us at (415) 476-5062 and we'll set up a convenient appointment for you.

Remember that, as part of UCSF, we are able to accept interdepartmental recharges using your Fund and DPA numbers for all transactions.

We also offer computer memory upgrade. We can install memory for Mac systems in-store* or can have a trained technician visit your location to install memory or upgrade your Mac or PC computer system.

In-Store Drop-Off Service Hourly Rate: $110

On-Site Service Hourly Rate: $125

Please Note: On-Site Service includes a $35 travel charge.

Additional charges apply for parts.
