Return Policies
UCSF Technology Store Returns Policy
| 1. |
Except as otherwise noted, the Technology Store will accept returns made within 14 days of original purchase. Returns are accepted only at the Technology
Store location in Millberry Union on Parnassus Avenue, and the customer is responsible for transporting any returns to the Millberry Union store. |

To be eligible for return, the original receipt is required, and merchandise must be in original, like-new condition, with all original accessories, full
packaging, manuals and registration card. |
| 3. |
Unless defective, a restocking fee of 15% will be charged on opened merchandise. |
| 4. |
Defective software or peripherals may be exchanged for the same item within 14-days of original purchase with original receipt. |
| 5. |
Defective computers, displays and printers are subject to return policies of their respective manufacturer. Customers may be required to contact the
manufacturer directly to arrange for replacement, or to receive authorization to return such merchandise. This merchandise will be replaced or repaired at
the discretion of the manufacturer, and credits for any approved returns of this merchandise may not be processed until the merchandise is received and
processed by the manufacturer. |

Any merchandise returned without a promotional item(s) included with the original transaction (free gift with purchase, discounted item with qualifying
purchase, etc.) will have the value of the promotional item deducted from the refund amount. |

Exceptions to returns eligibility:
- Returns of Order-on-Demand and non-catalog items will be accepted on a case-by-case basis, however most such items are not eligible for return.
- Opened software, clearance items, UCSF personal purchase software license ValuePacks and UCSF departmental licenses or license media are not eligible
for return.
- Order-on-Demand items or other non-catalog items requested from Apple, including software, accessories and configure-to-order computers and servers
are not eligible for return.
- Shipping, courier and rush charges are non-refundable.

Refunds of cash transactions under $100, credit cards, or departmental recharges will be paid in the same manner as original method of payment. For cash
transactions over $100 and for check transactions, refund will be paid by check from UCSF within 21 days of the return. |
