Fitness Evaluation and Body Composition
Regardless of your current level of fitness, a Fitness Evaluation establishes a baseline and identifies your strengths and weaknesses. You will also receive recommendations for an effective and time efficient fitness program.
Fitness Evaluation (allow 60 minutes)
- Resting heart rate
- Cardiovascular endurance
- Body composition evaluation including circumference and 7-site skinfold test
- Flexibility test
- Consultation
Body Composition only (allow 30 minutes)
- Body fat percentage via 7-site skinfold test
- Lean body weight vs fat mass
- Recommended body weight for ideal body fat percentage
- Consultation
Evaluation Guidelines
- Please dress in loose, comfortable clothing. Shorts are recommended. Women, please wear a sports bra.
- Do not exercise less than 6 hours before the evaluation.
- Do not consume caffeinated drinks such as coffee, soda, or tea 4 hours before.
- Do not consume alcohol 24 hours before the evaluation.
- Get plenty of sleep the night before.
