| 3) | How long should I wait to register for a class?
|
| |
Our best advice is: Don't wait. Customers are often disappointed when a class is filled because they waited until the last minute to register.

| 5) | What are the best fitness classes for a beginner or someone just getting back into exercise after a break?
|
| |
Pilates and Yoga are a terrific way for first timers or those returning to exercise to get started again without feeling too overwhelmed. Many consider these forms of movement to be "soft" exercise because they are not jarring to the joints. Plus, both types of exercise are excellent for improving posture and flexibility. BODYPUMP, a revolutionary weight training workout, is a simple, athletic-based workout that strengthens, tones and defines every major muscle group in your body...ideal for beginners and also experienced exercisers.

|
| |
Upon enrollment you will receive confirmation and receipt of payment. Your payment will not be processed unless you get into the class. If a space becomes available, you will be notified by phone. Please do not attend the first class. This will not improve your chances of being added to the class.

| 7) | What is your class refund policy?
|
| |
| The Fitness & Recreation Centers at UCSF adhere to a "no refund" policy for all customer-cancelled
registration activities, programs, sessions, lessons or trips; therefore:
|
| - |
Credit is issued if a customer cancels 7 days prior to the first day of an activity, program, session, lesson, pre-trip meeting or trip.
|
| - |
For activities, programs, sessions, lessons or trips costing more than $30, credit will be issued as a Gift Card for the
amount paid less a $30 cancellation fee.
|
| - |
For activities, programs, sessions, lessons or trips costing $30 or less, no credit will be issued and no cancellation
fee will be charged. |
| - |
No credit is issued if a customer cancels after the deadline stipulated above. |
| - |
Refund is issued only when the Fitness & Recreation Centers at UCSF must cancel an activity, program, session, lesson or trip. |
| - |
UCSF Camps and Recreational Sports Leagues also adhere to the above "no refund" and cancellation fee policies but have
individual cancellation deadlines specific to each camp or league. |
