Steve Najera Joins Facilities
Steve Najera has been hired as Manager of Administration & Communications for Facilities Services. Steve started June 1 and reports directly to Executive Director Jon Giacomi. Steve will be responsible for human resources coordination, space management, goals development and reporting, administrative operations, website content, travel, fleet management, policy development, FS Advisory Group coordination, and improving transparency and access to processes and procedures. He will also work with CLS Communications on a more comprehensive communications plan for Facilities Services that addresses both internal and external communication needs. Steve joins UCSF from the University of Colorado where he served as Manager of Building Operations for the Caruthers Biotechnology Building.
