MCB Mini Fitness Center

The Mission Center Building Mini Fitness Center is a dedicated space for UCSF employees to exercise. MCB Mini Fitness Center membership is available for current UCSF employees only, and a UCSF employee ID is required for enrollment.

Where is the MCB Mini Fitness Center?

The mini fitness center is located in room 112. The entrance to the mini fitness center is on the exterior of the building. When you exit MCB using the main doors, the mini fitness center is to your right, along the covered walkway.

How do I sign up to use the mini fitness center?

Download and complete the membership enrollment forms. Send a copy of your UCSF employee ID and completed forms to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). UCSF employee ID required to sign up.

You can also sign up in-person at anytime with Member Services at Bakar Fitness & Recreation Center at UCSF Mission Bay and Millberry Fitness & Recreation Center at UCSF Parnassus.

What is the fee to use the mini fitness center?

MCB Mini Fitness Center membership is $17 per month and is deducted from payroll. Use of the mini fitness center is included with UCSF Fitness & Recreation Premier membership at no additional charge; contact Member Services to set up access.

Do I receive Fitness & Recreation member discounts when joining the mini fitness center?

Upon joining the mini fitness center, you are eligible for all member discounted programming through the UCSF Fitness & Recreation Centers.

When will I be able to start working out in the mini fitness center?

After signing up, access will be available within one business day. Friday sign-ups will have access by Monday.

What are the hours of operation?

Monday-Friday 5:00 am-10:00 pm
Saturday-Sunday 7:00 am-8:00 pm

Are there showers?

The mini fitness center does not have showers. However, MCB does have showers located in rooms 2T1 and 2T2 on the second floor, down a hallway to the left as you exit the main elevators.

Will group exercise classes be held in the mini fitness center?

No. Due to limited space, group exercise classes will not be held in the room.
