We are seeking a share care family; we have a nanny. This might be a short-term arrangement until our son enters a child care center (hopefully in less than a year).
CARE LOCATION
Our apartment is in SoMa. The care location is negotiable with the new family if it is in Mission Bay or SoMa.
HOURS/DAYS
9am-5pm, M-F. We are looking for a family that needs full-time care but we can negotiate the hours.
START DATE
late June
CHILD’S AGE
Our child will be 14 months old when care starts.
ADDITIONAL INFO
We prefer to share care with a child around 1 year old. Our caregiver has been working as a nanny for almost 10 years and loves to take care of kids. Her native language is Spanish, but we can communicate with her in English. She is currently taking care of children of other UCSF postdocs.

CARE NEEDED
We are seeking a long-term share care arrangement with another family. We have a nanny. She is a lovely primarily Spanish-speaking woman with children of her own (teens and 20’s). She has been working with our family for about 1 year, along with another child (almost 2 years old) who is going to start at a daycare in late August.
CARE LOCATION
Inner Sunset - currently all care is provided in our family’s home. There is outdoor space with a play structure in the backyard, and it is an easy walk to Golden Gate Park. The site can be negotiated between both family’s homes.
HOURS/DAYS
Current hours are 8am-6pm, M-F. There is flexibility in determining the days or hours for the new family.
START DATE
early September
CHILD’S AGE
Our child, a boy, will be approximately 20 months old in September.

ADDITIONAL INFO
Seeking a mother’s helper in San Francisco for 2 children. Hoping you can start within days to weeks! Moderate to heavy housekeeping is required, including doing dishes daily, laundry once or twice a week, and helping prepare meals for the next day. We would also like your help with bathing kids occasionally, reading, and going through bedtime routine. We definitely want the caregiver to get to know our kids and our kids to be comfortable with her, but a large part of this job will be to help me in my housework so that I can devote time to my kids every evening. We live in West Portal.

ADDITIONAL INFO
Jazmin has been our nanny full-time for 15 months since our daughter was 4 months old. She is a natural and confident caregiver. I always know my daughter is in such capable and loving hands. We are part of a co-share and Jazmin seems to handle the double duty seamlessly. Both girls adore her and it’s all smiles and hugs when she is around. In addition to being loving, she is conscientious about what is best for the girls and has been very helpful in setting their daily schedules. She takes them to the park every day.  She sends daily updates, which include gorgeous photos of the girls.  And while Jazmin’s native language is Spanish, she can communicate flawlessly in English, so both girls are fortunate to have exposure to both languages. Plus, we are able to communicate back and forth very effectively. She is an exceptional caregiver and I can only give her the highest recommendation. Jazmin has truly become a part of our family and the only reason we no longer need her services is because we got into daycare after spending 2 years on the waitlist. Her next families will be very lucky to have her!

ADDITIONAL INFO
Our Nanny of 2.5 years will be seeking work as early as late June (though she is flexible with the start date). She’s been a wonderful caregiver for our spirited toddler with whom she’s clearly developed a loving relationship. Shirley is Chinese-American and is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Toisanese. She has lived in SF for more than 20 years and has worked in childcare most of her life. Although she doesn’t drive, she is very experienced with Muni and takes our daughter to all kinds of programs nearby (library story times, the YMCA, City College, parks, aquarium, zoo, etc). Neither my husband nor I speak Chinese languages but we are able to communicate well in English. Shirley is very attentive to our daughter and recognizes that each child is unique and has unique needs. She also has experience caring for a pair of siblings (i.e. Can handle more than one child). She is more like a grandmother to our daughter and we will be really sad to see her go! Please let us know if you are interested in talking more.
