Adult & Elder Care Resources

Years Ahead provides UCSF families access to a network of services and resources based on the geographic area where your elder family member may need support (local or nationwide.) You can also speak to a Years Ahead customer representative (a real, live person!) to help you navigate services and planning tools that fit your family needs.

Find out about your eligibility for the Years Ahead service based on your UCSF affiliation:
Years Ahead – UC Faculty and Staff (See list of participating bargaining units for this UC-sponsored benefit at UCnet.)
Years Ahead – Post-Docs
Years Ahead – UCSF Students, Residents & Clinical Fellows New!

Sittercity is another great resource for self-selecting pre-screened care companions. This resource can be helpful for back-up adult care (when your regular caregiver is not available) or for on-going home help for your family member.  Faculty, trainees, students and staff are eligible for Sittercity.

The Bright Horizons Back-Up Care Advantage Program is another adult care support resource that is available to eligible faculty, residents and clinical fellows.
