Service

PMP monitors supply levels through intelligent device monitoring software that reports all critical supplies levels for response. Many service needs are also monitored through this software. Additionally, there is a PMP sticker on your device that explains how to place service and supply requests if needed.

The equipment ID number is located on the PMP sticker on the front of the device.  There is no cost to order toner or staples for your PMP-enrolled device, as they are included in the University’s contract.

Break-Fix

To place Break-Fix repair service requests for CAMPUS desktop printers, email PMP at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call the IT HelpDesk at X4-4100. Have your equipment serial number and I.P. address ready. This information is available from the Configuration Report on the device.  Repair can be managed as a one-time incident/transaction, or the device can be enrolled in PMP going forward after the repair, which then includes service & supplies coverage.

Toner Recycling

Used toner & supplies can be picked-up when new toner & supplies are delivered.  Supply Chain Management’s Logistics team can also pick-up used toner cartridges along with your outgoing mail.  Either way, these used items are responsibly recycled.

Why Recycle?

• More than 3 quarts of oil are used to produce each laser cartridge. The plastic used in each printer     cartridge takes more than 10 centuries (that’s 1000 years!) to decompose.

• 25 million printer cartridges go to landfills each month.

• Toner cartridge remanufacturing saves over 38K tons of plastic and metal from landfills.
