We were also saddened by the sudden announcement that our sister department at UC Berkeley, UC Printing Services (UCPS) would be closing down their campus operation after 136 years of loyal service to the University.

To help mitigate the loss of printing and copying services provided by UCPS to the UCB campus community, UCSF DMM is expanding its service network to reach the UC Berkeley campus and its related locations.

We are a full-service print, copy, and mail facility managed and operated by dedicated UCSF employees. Our purpose is to support the needs and enhance the mission of the University.

What this means for you at UCB is that as an institutional, self-supported service provider, UCSF DMM is able to provide a similar range of services that you are already accustomed to.

You can also count on that UCSF DMM is always focused on supporting the mission of the University in the following ways:

• A bid process is not required for University departments working with us.
• We are not required to charge any University departments sales tax.
• We serve as stewards to protect the printed identity of the University.
• Our services are designed to work within an academic environment.
• By using our services, the funds stay within the UC system.
