Transportation Services

The University of California, San Francisco Transportation Services supports privacy as an essential element of intellectual and academic freedom. In the course of providing services, such as parking, shuttle services, parking enforcement, and ridesharing, Transportation Services may acquire personally identifiable information about you, including your name, university ID, home and business address, telephone numbers, and vehicle informaton. Its is our goal to gather the minimum personal information necessary and to retain that inforamtion for the shortest amount of time required to complete transactions or provide service. Information is sometimes kept for longer periods to allow for follow-up and enhance services for our users.

Access to personal information is restricted to authorized Transportation Services staff who need it to conduct related business. Personal information is never used for commercial purposes and it will not be revealed to any third party except by such process, order, or subpoena authorized by law. Transportation Services is supported in this goal by national, state, and lcoal laws, as well as through University of California and UCSF policies. Transportation Services adheres to all UCSF and UC privacy policies, as well as California and Federal privacy legislatioin.

Transportation Services websites link to Internet sites and services outside the administrative domain of Transportation Services. The privacy practices of external websites are not governed by the UCSF Transportation Services. You should read the privacy statements at these sites to determin their practices. Transportation Services does not provide vendors with personal user information.
