Skills Workshops
Alumni are welcome to participate in many of our professional skills enhancement
programs. We offer programs that help UCSF students and scholar improve their general writing
skills, presentation skills, leadership and management skills, and grant writing
skills. Former students and postdoctoral trainees are welcome to participate
in many of these programs.

Volunteer For Our
Career Alumni Network (CAN)
We hope you’ll want to stay connected to your UCSF community by volunteering
for the Career Alumni Network (CAN).
- Participate in various mentoring programs, serve on career panels and help out with alumni/student career networking dinners.
- You’ll be connecting with students/fellows with similar backgrounds, as well as providing invaluable advice to students/fellows considering career path options similar to yours.
